Sam Lake of Remedy hit the stage at Summer Game Fest to make some Alan Wake 2 related announcements. He kicked off by saying how nice it was that people had been posting images of their Remedy game collections, but there was something missing: no Alan Wake 2. To fix that, Alan Wake 2 will be getting physical Deluxe and Collector’s editions later this year.

The Deluxe Edition will be published on October 22, 2024 for the price of $80. It includes the base game along with everything contained in the Digital Deluxe Edition along with a download code for Alan Wake Remastered.

The Limited Collector’s Edition will be published by Limited Run Games and will be available in November of this year. It will contain everything that the Deluxe Edition has, plus a fully-working replica of Alan Wake’s Angel Lamp. It also comes with a key and keychain for the Ocean View Hotel, and an artbook.

As for the DLC, Sam Lake revealed that it’s titled Night Springs and is a series of three what-if style stories feature three characters, all of whom are very familiar. However, this aren’t actually the characters in question but rather Alan Wake’s rewritten versions of them. The first is based on waitress Rose Marigold. Then there’s The Actor, played by actual actor Shawn Ashmore who has played several roles in Remedy titles.. Finally, there’s The Sibling, based on Jesse Faden from my own beloved Control.

The best part? Night Springs will be available tomorrow, June 8. If you don’t already own the season pass, which will include the Lake House DLC in October, you can pick it up for $20. The Expansion Pass will also come bundled with the physical editions of the game.
