Civilization VII release date leaked ahead of Gamescom – WGB
2K are planning on lifting the lid on the upcoming Civilization VII tonight at Gamescom, including gameplay footage. A release sate is expected to be revealed at the same time, but reliable leaker billbil-kun has beaten them to the punch.
According to billbil-kun, the next entry in the Civilization series will launch on February 11, 2025.
The game will be available in Standard Edition ($69.99 on PS5/Xbox, $59.99 Switch) and Deluxe Edition ($99.99 on PS5/Xbox and $89.99 for Switch) with Deluxe Edition owners getting access to the game five days early. Or Standard Edition owners get access 5 days late, depending on whichever way round you look at it.

The game was announced for Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well but billbil-kun didn’t mention pricing for those.
2K’s showcase will start at 1.30pm PT / 6.30pm ET / 9.30pm BST today and last for over 20 minutes.
