Microsoft has announced what games will be hitting Game Pass this month. It’s just three games so far, but two of them have actually already been leaked.

The headliner for this month is the iconic marsupial Crash Bandicoot, the platforming mascot from Activision. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which collects the first three games in a gloriously great remastered package, will land on August 8th for subscribers.

A day before that on August 7th, Game Pass will get Creatures of Ava. This is a day one release.

“Let your empathy guide you as you play an exciting action-adventure, creature-saver game” says the blurb for Creatures of Ava. “Understand and tame the creatures of Ava and let them lead you through a variety of ecosystems – all in the hopes of saving the planet from a life-consuming infection. “

Finally, Game Pass will have to pay some protection money when Mafia: Definitive Edition pulls up on August 13th. This is a remaster of the original game and absolutely worth playing for the story and atmosphere. Hopefully this release means we can also expect to see the two sequels come to Game Pass as well.

Both Crash Bandicoot and Mafia were leaked ahead of time. eXtas1 successfully predicted both, and even got the dates correct. Mafia is still rumoured to be getting a 4th game, although no official word has been issued.
