Heaps of Xbox 360 games discounted ahead of digital store closure – WGB
The Xbox 360 digital storefront will finally close its doors on July 29, approximately 18 years after it first launched and and 8 years after it was officially discontinued.
In a new blog post, Microsoft have announced a celebration of the console by slashing the prices of a bunch of games.
“To celebrate the legacy of Xbox 360, we’re working with our amazing publishing partners to bring you as many price reductions from our online store or from the Xbox 360 Store on the console,” says Xbox. “We’ll be updating this list with more games on June 18, 2024, and on July 16, 2024, bringing you as many repriced games as possible before the end of July. These price reductions will remain in place for each game through the 360 store closing on July 29, 2024. “
While the store is closing and you won’t be able to buy any Xbox 360 titles from it moving forward, any games and DLC you already own will remain in your library, ready to download whenever you fancy.
