PlayStation VR2 PC adapter spotted on Korean certification website – WGB
A physical adapter allowing for the PlayStation VR2 headset to connect to a PC has been spotted by user Brad Lynch on X.
Lynch noticed the filing on Korea’s Nation Radio Research Agency which was established 1966 in order to “ensure efficient research of radio resources and radio wave environments, and conduct research on quality certification and technical criteria with regard to broadcasting and communications equipment…”

According to the listing which Bradley has provided a screenshot for, the adapter received certification on the 27th of March. That could perhaps indicate an announcement quite soon, perhaps even at the long-rumoured State of Play or Showcase event that Sony is supposedly holding by the end of this month, although time is obviously running out.
Aside from that and it being named PlayStation VR2 PC Adapter, no other information is available.
But it’s likely real for quite a few reasons. First and foremost, Sony themselves have already stated that they are working on allowing PS VR2 users to hook their headset up to their computers. We aren’t quite sure exactly what Sony’s vision is, but the obvious assumption would be that it lets the PS VR2 act like a regular PC headset that can access Steam VR games and so forth.
The second reason is that a certification isn’t something likely to be created by accident or by a system error. It’s hard to imagine any scenario where a specific listing for a PS VR2 adapter could be created by mistake.
As for the PS VR2 itself, while it is an impressive piece of technology it has struggle to make a real impact. It’s an expensive add-on to an already quite pricey console, and PlayStation’s first-party support has been almost non-existent. Sony has also be reticent to discuss sales numbers, only offering vague platitudes. In October of last year, Sony’s senior vice president and head of global marketing, Eric Lampel, told the Financial Times that VR is “is a bit of a challenging category right now”, but did also say sales were “going well”.
