CoD: Modern Warfare Season 3 Update Lets You Mix Weapon Blueprints
A new update available now in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One gives players more freedom within the Gunsmith. Now, you will be able to mix and match your blueprints as part of Season Three: Reloaded content update.
Developer Infinity Ward revealed in a recent Call of Duty update post that Gunsmith Customs lets you create personalized weapons for Modern Warfare. By combining different attachments from blueprints of the same weapon type, the end result will be weapons that have “unique looks, styles, and capabilities.” The studio said more information on Gunsmith Customs will come out sometime this week.
There’s more coming to Modern Warfare and Warzone this week in addition to Gunsmith Customs. Infinity Ward unveiled a double XP event and multiplayer playlist update, new contract type for Warzone that comes with a massive payoff for your entire squad, and more. You have until Monday, May 4 to take advantage of double XP.
In other Call of Duty news, a new patch hit Modern Warfare and Warzone on Tuesday, April 28. The update was split in two this time around, and the patch notes are available.
