Animal Crossing’s Adorable Nintendo Switch Controllers Are Finally Back In Stock

0

We’ve spent the past few months tracking all of the adorable Animal Crossing: New Horizons merch, from console skins and carrying cases to plushies and Amiibo, and much more. Two of our favorite Animal Crossing products leading up to New Horizons‘ launch were PowerA’s cute wireless controllers. They’ve been out of stock for more than a month, but PowerA is now selling both designs–K.K. Slider and Nooklings–directly through its website for $50 each.

PowerA’s Enhanced wireless controllers look and feel very similar to Nintendo’s official Pro controller. We’ve tested PowerA’s Enhanced controllers and found them to be solid budget controllers for Switch that are easy to recommend. They have the added bonus of two programmable triggers on the back panel, which is a great feature to have. Just a heads up: PowerA controllers use two AA batteries for power (roughly 30 hours of charge) and lack both rumble and NFC support for Amiibo.

It’s unclear if the Animal Crossing controllers will be available at major retailers again, but keep in mind they sold out fairly quickly the first time around. It’s easy to see why, as both controllers are ridiculously cute. If you’re interested, you should probably scoop them up directly from PowerA while you have the chance.

If PowerA Enhanced wireless controllers sound cool to you, but you don’t care that much about the Animal Crossing designs, GameStop’s current Deal of the Day discounts pre-owned black wireless controllers from PowerA to $20.
